On April 14, 2024, before our beloved parishes merged, we gathered for a meaningful Day of Reflection. This special event provided an opportunity for parishioners from Our Lady of the Holy Cross, St. Augustine, St. Elizabeth, Mother of John the Baptist, and St. Matthew the Apostle to come together in prayer, discussion, and fellowship. Through shared insights and heartfelt conversations, we explored our faith journey and envisioned the direction of our future community.

Faith in Action: Trivia Night
On April 20, 2024, our four parishes gathered for an exciting Trivia Event, celebrating our shared knowledge and friendly competition. Before the merger, parishioners from Our Lady of the Holy Cross, St. Augustine, St. Elizabeth, Mother of John the Baptist, and St. Matthew the Apostle came together for a night of fun, laughter, and connection.

Faith in Action: 2024 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage Stop at the St. Matthew Site
On July 6, 2024, the St. Matthew site proudly served as a stop on the pilgrimage to Indianapolis, organized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Faith in Action: Voter Canvassing in the Ville Neighborhood
On September 21, 2024, parishioners of St. Peter Claver Parish, in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Gamma Omega Chapter, took to the streets of the historic "Ville" Neighborhood for a non-partisan voter canvassing event. Together, we engaged with community members to register voters and share important information for the upcoming 2024 election.
